Panic and anxiety attacks are on the increase. Nobody knows why there are on the increase but our current stressful lives seem to be a big factor. No matter the cause, they are increasing and causing more people more problems than ever.
Could you spot if you were having a panic or anxiety attack? Not a simple question to answer because symptoms can vary from the downright petrifying to almost unnoticeable. Symptoms could be a simple hot flush to a more terrifying racing heart and shallowness of breath.
I think if you were having the more serious symptoms you would know you needed some type of help. But you could also be having mild symptoms and not even know it’s an anxiety related attack. These mild symptoms could well be warning signs of something worse to come.
My wife suffered a bad panic attack while she was out driving our car. Needless to say it wasn’t just the actual anxiety attack that frightened her but the fact she could have crashed and killed herself and others. It won’t do anyone any good to dwell on this type of scenario.
If you have been feeling a little off lately, maybe suffering any of these symptoms…. Feeling anxious or on edge, can’t sleep, can’t concentrate, can’t sit still or feeling irritated. Any of these small signs could be a forewarning that something else is about to hit you.
Before you actually get into a panic about these symptoms let me assure you there are many things that can cause these symptoms. And you shouldn’t worry about them. An ill fitting item of clothing can cause you to fidget and too much coffee (caffeine) will definitely disrupt your sleep.
However if you think you may want to delve further and check out if you are a potential anxiety attack victim. You can take an anxiety symptoms test which may give you a better idea. The test involves answering yes or no to a few questions and adding your score up at the end.
Then you can make the choice to take further action or not. There’s an anxiety (panic) symptoms test here.
