
What many people don’t realise is Hpv Warts is a sexually transmitted infection caused by Human Papilloma Virus (HPV). This is more commonly known as genital warts. HPV Warts is one of the most difficult STD’s to treat as it can have a dormancy period where the infection lies in your body without any symptoms. This means that it can spread really easily as the person might not even know they have the condition. HPV Warts goes through periods where the infection lies dormant and then other times the warts flare up. As the condition is so infections it is really important that you practice safe sex at all times. If a person with HPV Warts has unprotected sex there is a 70% chance of them passing the infection onto their partner. This disease can also be spread through skin to skin contact of an infected area. If the warts are particularly small the person might not even realise that they have the infection. A word of caution, wearing condom does not always guarantee that you will not be infected as genital warts can occur in areas not covered by a condom. Women often only find out they have HPV Warts when they go for a pap smear. This just tells you how important it is for sexually active women to get regular screening. If left untreated, serious cases of HPV Warts could lead to other conditions such as pelvic inflammatory disease or cervical cancer. Again, this just proves how important it is for any person who is sexually active to have regular check ups. Hpv Warts are raised bumps or lumps, they can appear in their own or in clusters. Generally they are painless but they might itch a bit. A lot of people choose to look up pictures of warts on the internet to see if it looks like the symptoms they have. If you look at them they may appear to be pink and sometimes have a cauliflower shape. Occasionally the warts can disappear without treatment but generally you will require some form of treatment to get rid of them. There are lots of treatment out there you could speak to your doctor who will discuss various options including burning the warts off. Your other option is to treat yourself in the comfort of your own home with a treatment from a well known firm. Just remember that the choice is yours, and if one option does not work just try another one.
